We took a trip last weekend to Nashville. The weather was cool but dry...make that cold but dry. We rode over 850 miles in three days and had a great time. When we arrived in Nashville we had dinner at the Loveless Cafe. The food was great and I found out that the resturant and I were the same age...we are both still standing. We did a lot of riding and site seeing through the beautiful Tennessee countryside. All of the motorcycles ran great, and we had a safe trip. Thanks to the friends that got the trip together and invited us.

Checking out the Eiffel Tower.

I bought my first motorcycle when I was sixteen before I had a drivers license. Riding my motorcycle at 16 was my "escape", and it is still somewhat true today. It is very relaxing with little to distract you. I have always enjoyed riding and have owned many motorcycles over the years. My current bike is my favorite with the possible exception of the little Honda I had at 16.

We stopped on one of our rides at Kentucky Lake.

Taking a break on the dock.

The water at Kentucky Lake is beautiful.

What an awesome ride with some fantastic people! Kentucky and Tennessee are truly homes to a remarkable array of scenery specializing in lush forests, abundant bodies of water, and breathtaking mountains which resulted in a truly great motorcycle ride.
Nashville was truly a lively city with rich history and colorful amenities that seem to draw visitors year round. I truly loved the long cold ride and enjoyed meeting new friends and most importantly a safe ride. Just remember what happens in Nashville stays in Nashville! LOL Thank you for another terrific time. ~Shirl
Well, now I am jealous. Our ride to Virginia Beach was fun but we froze our butts off. Ride down was not bad. Weather in the 60's.
We rented a house on the beach and the first day was nice. Even took a walk in the water. Next day nothing but rain and 40's & 50's.
The wives flew down 2 days later and nothing but cold rain. We were there for 7 days and nights and the morning we left the weather was to get in the lower 70's. On the way back we spent the night in the mountains, the following morning the temperature was 27 degrees at 8 am. We waited until noon and the a heat wave hit us. 38 Degrees. We learned our lession. No long trips after the first week of September.
